The Pridwin Hotel has its own private pool and beach for swimming and lined with chaise longes for just relaxing.
For the active, The Pridwin has kayaks, sunfish, paddle boats for use on the bay. There are bicycles for local touring. The Pridwin is also home to the Moussa Drame Tennis Camp, where all ages can play for fun or to perfect their game.
There are a number of fun shops on Shelter island and innumerable places in the nearby Hamptons.
