Welcome to the Pridwin Hotel blog. The Pridwin Hotel located on Crescent Beach, Shelter Island, New York has been in the Petry family for (an astonishing!) 45 years. We’re excited to have a space to write about the history of the hotel as well as what goes on during and outside the hotel’s season of operation. We also intend to give special insights into how first-time visitors to Shelter Island can have a real Shelter Island experience. And this will be a place to find out about special events and offers from time to time during the season.

Lastly (because we need to save space for future posts…!) we would just like to thank all of you who have come to the Pridwin Hotel in the past, whether for a stay or a meal or cookout.
